1. What CatchGPT Is
CatchGPT is a private quiz generation tool for educators. Access is set up manually after a consultation. We do not offer public self-serve account creation.
2. Information We Collect
- Account details such as name, email address, organization, access status, and support history.
- Uploaded course materials, including PDF or DOCX files that you choose to provide.
- Generated quiz plans, questions, answer keys, usage history, token counts, and estimated AI processing costs.
- Security and service logs, including login events, request metadata, IP-derived rate limiting signals, error logs, and device or browser details.
3. Student Records and Sensitive Data
CatchGPT is designed for teacher-owned course materials, not student submissions or student records. Do not upload student names, grades, IEP information, health information, discipline records, or other sensitive personal information unless a written agreement with CatchGPT specifically covers that use.
4. How We Use Information
- To provide the generator, extract source text, draft quiz content, test multiple-choice items, and save output history.
- To manage manual account setup, security checks, access decisions, billing support, and customer communication.
- To monitor reliability, debug failures, measure usage, investigate abuse, and control AI processing costs.
5. AI Providers and Service Vendors
CatchGPT may send uploaded content, extracted text, prompts, generated quiz drafts, and related metadata to third-party AI providers and infrastructure vendors as needed to operate the service. These vendors process information on our behalf or under their own applicable service terms. We do not sell uploaded course materials.
6. Model Training
CatchGPT does not intentionally use your uploaded course materials to train public foundation models. Third-party AI provider handling depends on the provider, product settings, and applicable agreements in place at the time of processing.
7. Retention
Generated quiz outputs and usage records may be kept in your account history so you can review prior work and so we can support the service. Uploaded source files may be processed temporarily or retained where needed for debugging, support, security, or contractual obligations. You can request deletion or export help at contact@catchgpt.ai.
8. Security
We use access controls, manual provisioning, server-side authorization checks, secure cookies in production, rate limiting, and operational logging. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so you should avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information.
9. Account Changes
Password resets use email verification from the log-in flow. Access changes, account recovery, seat changes, and deletion requests are handled through CatchGPT support. Contact contact@catchgpt.ai.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product, vendors, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be reflected by changing the date above and, when appropriate, contacting active customers.
